The Collectv was established in 2014, to provide systems integration, media management and support for broadcast, outside broadcast and post-production systems. In 2015 and 2017 we were awarded Emmys for Outstanding Technical Team Remote at the Olympics as part of NBC’s team. In 2024 we won the Broadcast Tech Team of the Year award at the Broadcast Tech Innovation Awards for creating an innovative technical solution for Tour De France Unchained series.
Our current experience spans the likes of Sky Sports’ Darts events, Formula One for F1 and Netflix (Drive to Survive), Dancing on Ice for ITV, Celebrity Bear Hunt for Workerbee, Winterwatch for the BBC and The Apprentice for Naked TV. In 2022 we launched Creative Remote, our remote offline post facility, delivering some of the largest global unscripted high-end television series including Netflix’s Formula 1: Drive To Survive and Apple TV’s Make or Break.

Responsibilities include:
- General organisation and maintenance of our warehouse including preparation of equipment
- Organising and logging the dispatch and return of equipment, including delivery and collection
- General office duties and errands either at base or on location to support the team and our clients.
Key Accountabilities
- Despatching equipment including boxing up kit into flight cases, assisting in preparing packing information, delivering equipment to location
- Collecting equipment from location/clients and checking them back in, stripping down and cleaning
- Assisting in the preparation of equipment, selecting equipment from a given list with all associated cables and peripherals
- Ensuring stock levels are kept to required levels, in all areas of base
- Assisting, if and when required, on location on our jobs.
Required Knowledge, Experience and Skills
Essential:
- Willingness to learn and develop skills across all aspects of outside broadcasting, post production and fixed rig
- Strong inter personal skills to communicate effectively and be part of a team
- Able to plan tasks and prioritise effectively
- Able to work across a number of concurrent projects
- Good attention to detail, diligence in work
- Basic hardware and software computer skills
- Drivers licence (held for minimum one year).
Desirable:
- Some understanding of Windows, macOS and/or Linux operating systems
- Some understanding of scheduling systems
- Ingest/media management experience.
Travel
Due to the nature of the position there will be the necessity for travel, both locally and abroad, so in addition to the above, the ability to be totally flexible, including outside of regular office hours is a key requisite of this role
