Reporting to: Commissioning Editor

Key Areas of responsibility:
  • Carry out daily checklist to prepare accurate schedules for sending to playout providers
  • Process advertising files from sales and send complete schedules to playout providers
  • Input continuity items and information to set deadlines and liaise with continuity producers to ensure all scripting information is accurate and up to date
  • To view and log programmes considering transitions, commercial compliance and editorial judgements for all the linear and VOD channels
  • Work with all departments to ensure weekly and daily deadlines are met.

Requirements & Previous experience with:
  • Experience within the broadcasting industry desirable
  • Some knowledge/experience of Veset or other scheduling systems preferred
  • Good PC skills including Microsoft packages
  • Display initiative and be adaptable to change
  • Be able to prioritise optimally and display strong organisational skills
  • Able to work within tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure.
